Why am I getting a login error when connecting my EV?

 If you encounter an error while connecting your EV, it is typically caused by one of two things: a temporary service disruption or incorrect login credentials for your vehicle manufacturer’s portal.

To resolve this, please try the following steps:

  • Verify your credentials on web portal: Open your mobile browser and log in to your vehicle manufacturer’s web portal directly.

  • Verify your credentials on mobile app: Log out of your vehicle manufacturer’s official app, then log back in to ensure your account is active.


    IMPORTANT

    Please remember that there are other programs run by ev.energy in Massachusetts, such as National Grid's ChargeSmart MA and MA Clean Peak Standard - if you already have an account with us there, you will not be able to register an account.

    IF you enrolled in any of the above and received payments/ incentives for participating, you will need to remain on the relevant programs in accordance with the off-boarding guidance from their Terms and Conditions file.

Still having trouble? If you can log in to the manufacturer’s site without issue but still see an error in the ev.energy app, please let us know. Email us at eversource-ma@ev.energy. We will coordinate with our integration provider to investigate the connection and get you back on track.
