Enrollment Confirmation: Processing times and "nudge" emails

Overview

Once you connect your vehicle or home charger, your enrollment is automatically verified on our end.

However, because the Managed Charging program involves two different companies—ev.energy (the app) and Resource Innovations (the payment vendor)—there is a brief administrative delay while our systems sync.

The Enrollment Timeline

We share participation data with Resource Innovations on a weekly basis.

  • The "Weekly File": We compile a list of all newly enrolled participants every Monday.

  • The Cut-off: If you connected your equipment after the Monday file was sent, your information will be included in the following week’s update.

Processing Windows

Once Resource Innovations receives our data, their official processing time can take up to 10 business days.

Recommendation: Please allow at least two full weeks from the date you connected your device for Resource Innovations to finalize your account and stop the automated enrollment emails.


Scenario: I've already talked to Support, so why the emails?

If ev.energy support has confirmed you are enrolled, rest assured that your data is being recorded. The "nudge" emails you are receiving are automated based on Resource Innovations' current records. If you are in the 10-day processing window mentioned above, these emails may continue to arrive until their system reflects your updated status.

⚠️ Important: Do Not Delete Your Vehicle

To ensure your enrollment is successfully verified, do not remove your vehicle or charger from your app profile.


Deleting your equipment before your enrollment is finalized—or before the weekly sync is generated—will break the data link required to verify your eligibility.

Please do not delete your EV unless you are following specific instructions from our support team at eversource-ma@ev.energy.



Will I miss my monthly incentives?

No. We track your charging data from the moment you connect your equipment. Even if the administrative side takes a few extra days to finalize, your qualifying charging sessions are securely logged and will be used to calculate your payments.
