- How it works: ev.energy simply records your charging data through your connected device.
- Control: We do not manage or interrupt your charging.
- App Function: In this tier, the app acts strictly as a "Data Hub" to ensure your participation is tracked for program enrollment.
How to Earn Your Monthly Incentive for Baseline Tier
To qualify for the $10 monthly incentive at the end of the charging season, you are responsible for managing your own charging schedule.
Your Action Step:
You must ensure that your vehicle is programmed to charge only during off-peak hours. You can do this by setting a schedule directly in your vehicle's infotainment system /app or your charger’s manufacturer app.
Official Off-Peak Hours
- Off-Peak Hours: Off-peak hours are 9:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. 7 days a week, excluding the National holidays.
Pro Tip: To ensure you never miss a payment, set your "Start Time" for 9:00 PM and your "End Time" for 1:00 PM in your charger's app. This automates the process so you stay compliant all season long.
